Maryam was 8 years old in 1979. She lived with her family in a town in north western Iran. She told us about her memories on September 26th, 2016.

Maryam experienced the revolution as a series of strange events that altered the normal routine of her life and the behaviour of grownups around her. Here Maryam remembers one of these intense moments: her grandparents breaking down in front of her after a news announcement.
